FRANCIA RAISA HABLA DE LOS HISPANOS EN HOLLYWOOD

Francia Raisa es una joven de origen mexicano y hondureño que inspira llegar a ser una de las estrellas principales de Hollywood. La co-protagonista de la teleserie americana The Secret Life of an American Teenager visitó ayer los estudios de MTV Radio, donde además de hablar de su personaje “Adrian Lee” en el drama, dio su opinión sobre la presencia latina en el cine y la televisión anglosajona. (Cut #5): “I think is getting better. At first I wasn’t too happy about it because you think Hispanic girls and you think ‘Cholas’, who are always getting pregnant and lately I just been noticing a lot more Hispanic people in the TV industry and just branching out and they are not always playing the stereotypical Spanish role, so I think we are, you know, making a name for ourselves and changing the way people think about us.” Rasia, de 21 años de edad, usó como ejemplo a la actriz y productora mexicana Salma Hayek y a la española Penélope Cruz, quienes han conquistado al publico norteamericano con su talento.
Francia es hija del anunciador de radio de Los Ángeles, Renán Almendárez Coello y es conocida por su actuación en películas como Bring it On: All or Nothing, The Cutting Edge 3: Chasing the Dream and Fired Up.
